About this example
This example is the planned maintenance agreement a commercial HVAC contractor signs with a charter school for its twelve heating, cooling and ventilation units: six rooftop units, two split systems and four extract fans. It combines four seasonal maintenance visits with a priority service membership that guarantees a four-hour response around the clock.
A maintenance agreement is only as good as its schedules, so this one names everything. Schedule A lists each unit by tag, type, size, area served and installation year, with a roof plan showing where it sits. A checklist sets out what every visit and each seasonal visit includes, Schedule B fixes the visit months around the school year, and a response-time table defines three priority levels. The fees are itemised, payable in four quarterly instalments, and Schedule C fixes member rates for repairs, parts and refrigerant. Three plan levels are compared, and twelve numbered terms cover access, renewal, exclusions, warranty, insurance, liability and termination before the signatures.
