Tooling and piece price in separate sections
Molds, texture and the first article in a tooling section with its own subtotal; parts, packing and freight in another. The buyer sees the one-time cost and the recurring cost apart.
For custom injection molders and mold makers
ExtraflowDoc lets a molder quote the two numbers buyers compare without blurring them: tooling with cavities, steel and tool life, and the piece price with material, cycle time and weight, plus prices by annual volume and a clear tooling payment plan.

Built for tooling and production
A molding quote is two quotes in one: a tool the customer pays for once and owns, and parts they will buy for years. Mixing them is the fastest way to lose the program.
Molds, texture and the first article in a tooling section with its own subtotal; parts, packing and freight in another. The buyer sees the one-time cost and the recurring cost apart.
Each mold line carries its cavitation, steel, runner, actions and rated life as fields. Two quotes with the same price but different steel are no longer the same quote.
Show the piece price at four annual volumes in a table, or set price tiers on the part. The buyer can plan the next year's orders from your quote.
Half with the PO, most at T1 samples, the rest at part approval: put the stages and amounts in a table, so nobody argues about when the tool is paid for.
How often resin prices are reviewed, the overrun allowance and who owns the tool are saved terms added to every quote, not paragraphs retyped each time.
The quote number goes on the buyer's PO, or the buyer signs. Status shows whether the quote was sent, viewed, signed or declined.
Worked example
This is a real four-page ExtraflowDoc quote from a custom molder in Grand Rapids to a controls manufacturer: two production molds and a first order of 10,000 enclosure sets in flame-rated PC/ABS, for $61,730.00. Molding buyers judge two numbers, the tooling and the piece price, and this quote never lets them blur.
A letter explains what is quoted and who owns the tools. A table gives each mold's cavities, steel, tool life and when T1 samples arrive, and a timeline runs from the DFM review to the first shipment in about nine weeks.
Tooling is one section worth $43,050.00: each mold with its steel, runner or side actions and rated tool life as fields, plus texture and the first article inspection. A table then splits the tooling into three payments, at the PO, at T1 samples and at part approval.
The first order comes to $18,300.00, each part with its material, cycle time, cavities and weight under the price. A table shows the piece price at 10,000, 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 a year, so the buyer can see what higher volume would do.
What is included and excluded, then terms on tool ownership and maintenance, quarterly resin price reviews, overruns and design changes after steel is cut, before an acceptance block that also takes a PO.

“Best ROI of any software we've purchased. Paid for itself in the first week.”
Integrations
ExtraflowDoc installs into Pipedrive and monday.com, so the quote is built on the deal or item the RFQ created, with the program, the parts and the buyer's dates already there.

Open ExtraflowDoc from the RFQ's deal. The buyer, the program name and custom fields such as annual volume, resin or launch date fill the quote, and the PO reference stays on the deal.

If programs run on a monday.com board, build the quote from the item. Its columns fill the document, and the accepted quote is stored back on the program.
Pricing

FAQ
Including what ExtraflowDoc does not do.
It is software that turns an RFQ into a quote a buyer can approve: the molds with their specification and price, the piece prices, volume pricing, tooling payments and terms. ExtraflowDoc does this inside Pipedrive or monday.com, from the deal or item the RFQ created.
No. ExtraflowDoc does not read CAD files, run mold-flow simulation or estimate cycle time, cavitation or tool cost. Cost the job in your own estimating tool, then quote it in ExtraflowDoc.
No. It does not schedule presses, track resin inventory or record production. It produces the quote, the purchase order for material, the delivery note and the invoice.
Yes. Put molds in a tooling section and parts in a production section, each with its own subtotal, and the document totals both. Add a note that tooling is billed once.
Yes, with a table of volumes and prices, with price tiers on each part, or with a quotation table per volume, each with its own total.
Yes. Price each line from the toolmaker's cost or your machine-hour cost plus a markup or a margin. The document details show cost, profit and margin to your team, and cost columns marked internal stay off the buyer's copy.
Yes. Agreements are a document type, so a mutual NDA can go out for e-signature from the same deal before the buyer shares CAD files.
Yes. The free plan covers 5 documents a month with unlimited users. Paid plans start at USD $14.99/month for 20 documents, and every feature is on every plan, the free one included.
