Gauge, operations and finish per part
16 ga 304, laser cut, six bends, TIG-welded corners, #4 brushed: fields under each part line make the price make sense, and make a cheaper competitor's omissions visible.
For sheet metal shops and metal fabricators
ExtraflowDoc lets a fabricator answer an RFQ part by part: gauge and material, the operations each part goes through and its finish, programming and fixtures kept apart, price breaks, and acceptance by PO or signature.

The ExtraflowDoc document editor
Built for cut, formed and welded parts
Fabrication buyers read a quote against the drawing. When gauge, bends, welds and finish are on the line, they can see you quoted the same part they drew.
16 ga 304, laser cut, six bends, TIG-welded corners, #4 brushed: fields under each part line make the price make sense, and make a cheaper competitor's omissions visible.
Nesting, brake programs, first articles and weld fixtures are a separate section. The part price reflects repeat orders, and the buyer knows what they will not pay again.
Show each part at four quantities, or set price tiers on it. Buyers ordering 60 often move to 120 when they can see what the setup spread does to the price.
The tolerance standard, material certificates, stainless surcharges and overrun allowance are saved terms added to every quote.
PEM studs, powder coat, passivation: list them as fields or as their own priced lines, so a change in finish is costed by editing one line.
The buyer issues a PO against the quote number or signs it. When the parts ship, the quote turns into the invoice in one click.
Worked example
This is a real three-page ExtraflowDoc quote from a sheet metal job shop in Cincinnati to a food equipment maker: welded stainless enclosures, access panels with pressed-in studs and powder-coated brackets, for $13,088.00. Fabrication buyers check gauge, operations and finish line by line, and that is how this quote is laid out.
One row ties the quote to the RFQ, the drawing revisions, the ship date and the terms. Each part follows with its gauge and material, operations and finish as fields: the enclosure at $148.00 each is 16 ga 304 stainless, laser cut, bent six times and TIG-welded. Parts come to $11,868.00.
Programming, flat patterns, first articles and a weld fixture are one-time charges, $1,070.00, kept out of the part prices. A table gives every part at 30, 60, 120 and 240 pieces, and the assumptions name the tolerance standard, the certificates included and what is excluded.
Four steps (cut, form, weld, inspect) show the route every enclosure follows. Terms say how stainless surcharges are checked and how overruns are billed, and the buyer can accept by signature or PO.

“Game changer for our construction business. Complex estimates that used to take hours now take 10 minutes.”
“Very intuitive. Our team was creating professional proposals on day one with zero training.”
“The Pipedrive integration is seamless. All our client data auto-fills perfectly.”
Integrations
ExtraflowDoc installs into Pipedrive and monday.com, so the quote is built on the deal or item the RFQ created, beside the drawings and the buyer's emails.

Open ExtraflowDoc from the deal. The buyer and custom fields such as RFQ number, material or due date fill the quote, and standard parts come from your product catalog with their price tiers.

If jobs run on a monday.com board, build the quote from the item. Columns such as part number, gauge and quantity fill the document, and the quote is stored back on the job.
Pricing
Estimators, inside sales and the owner all quote on one plan. ExtraflowDoc charges by documents per month per company, however many RFQs come in.

FAQ
Including what ExtraflowDoc does not do.
It is software that turns an RFQ into a quote a buyer can check against the drawing: each part with its gauge, operations and finish, one-time charges, price breaks and terms. ExtraflowDoc does this inside Pipedrive or monday.com, from the deal or item the RFQ created.
No. ExtraflowDoc does not read DXF or STEP files, unfold bends, nest parts on a sheet or calculate laser time. Use your CAM and nesting software for that, then quote the result in ExtraflowDoc.
Yes. Add fields under each part line, such as operations and finish, or a short table or step section explaining how a part is made, as the example on this page does.
Yes. Put them in a one-time charges section with its own subtotal, and say on each line that it is not charged on repeat orders.
No. It does not schedule work centers, track jobs through the shop or manage stock. It produces and tracks the documents: quotes, purchase orders, delivery notes and invoices.
Yes. Enter material and shop cost and add a markup or a target margin per line. The document details show cost, profit and margin to your team only; internal columns never print.
Yes. Choose the currency and number format the customer pays in, and apply or skip taxes per line or for the whole quote.
Yes. The free plan covers 5 documents a month with unlimited users. When RFQs pick up, paid plans start at USD $14.99/month for 20 documents.
