Every piece, its size and its materials
A table of what you will build (library wall, 144 × 104 in, maple plywood with poplar face frames) comes before any price. The client checks the description, and you have a written record of what was agreed.
For carpenters, joiners and cabinet makers
ExtraflowDoc lets a carpenter quote custom work the way clients buy it: each piece with its size, materials and finish, photos of similar work, fixed prices, a build schedule and a signature before the shop drawings start.
Free plan available. No credit card required. Or build a quote in your browser with nothing to install.

The ExtraflowDoc document editor
Built for custom woodwork
Custom work is bought on trust. The client cannot see the piece yet, so the quote has to describe it well enough that they can picture it and check it.
A table of what you will build (library wall, 144 × 104 in, maple plywood with poplar face frames) comes before any price. The client checks the description, and you have a written record of what was agreed.
Add several photos to a line item: a Shaker door sample, a finished built-in from a past job, the hardware. Clients approve what they can see, and the photos keep the quote and the conversation in one place.
Each built-in is one fixed price; crown, base and wainscoting are priced by the linear foot. Mixing units in one table means a change of room or a longer run is costed by changing one number.
Spraying, staining and hardware are where clients ask to save money. Give them their own section with its own subtotal, so a client can see what a cheaper finish would change without you rewriting the quote.
Price each piece from cost plus margin and mark the cost columns internal. You see shop hours, sheet goods and profit on every line; the client sees a clean price.
Add a payment schedule tied to drawing approval, delivery and completion, and send the quote for e-signature. The accepted quote turns into the deposit invoice in one click.
Worked example
This is a real three-page ExtraflowDoc quote from a finish carpenter in Richmond, Virginia, to homeowners in an older house: a library wall, a window seat, a mudroom bench, crown moulding and wainscoting, for $18,472.00. It is built so the client knows exactly what will be made, from what, before they see what it costs.
A short letter says what the quote covers and that the price is fixed until a date. A table then lists each piece with its size and materials (maple plywood cases, poplar face frames, a red oak bench top) and promises shop drawings before anything is cut. A four-step timeline runs from drawings to install in about six weeks.
The three built-ins come to $14,150.00, each a fixed price with a short description. Crown moulding and wainscoting are priced by the linear foot, $2,492.00 together, so a change of room is easy to cost. The sprayed finish and the hardware are their own section, $1,830.00, and no sales tax is added because the carpenter pays it on the materials.
Three payments are tied to approving the drawings, delivery and the final walk-through. The terms deal with walls that are not square (scribing included, plaster repair not), changes after the drawings are approved, and a two-year warranty on joinery and finish, before a signature block.

“Very intuitive. Our team was creating professional proposals on day one with zero training.”
“Game changer for our construction business. Complex estimates that used to take hours now take 10 minutes.”
“Best ROI of any software we've purchased. Paid for itself in the first week.”
Integrations
ExtraflowDoc installs into Pipedrive and monday.com, so the quote is built on the deal or item the enquiry created, next to the measurements and the photos from the visit.

Open ExtraflowDoc from the deal. The client, the address and custom fields such as room, wood species or finish color fill the quote, and the signed PDF stays on the deal.

If jobs run on a monday.com board, build the quote from the item. Its columns fill the document, and the quote is stored back on the job for the shop to work from.
Pricing
The owner, the estimator and whoever draws the shop drawings use the same plan. ExtraflowDoc charges by documents per month per company, so a growing shop does not pay more per person.

FAQ
Including what ExtraflowDoc does not do.
It is software that turns a measured job into a quote the client can accept: each piece described with its size and materials, prices, photos, a schedule and a signature. ExtraflowDoc does this inside Pipedrive or monday.com, from the deal or item the enquiry created.
No. ExtraflowDoc is not design or CAD software: it does not draw shop drawings, calculate sheet layouts or produce cut lists. Do that in your design tool, and put the drawings or renders into the quote as images.
Yes. Each line has its own unit and quantity, so a built-in at one fixed price and crown moulding at 64 linear feet sit in the same table and roll into the same total.
Yes. Add a quotation table for each option, such as paint-grade maple and stain-grade white oak, each with its own total. The client sees both and tells you which one to build.
Yes. Each line item can carry several photos, and gallery sections show finished jobs with a short description. Upload them once to the shared media library and reuse them in every quote.
Yes. Price lines as cost plus markup or cost plus margin. The document details show cost, profit and margin to your team only, and cost columns can be marked internal so they never appear on the PDF.
No. ExtraflowDoc has no time clock, job costing or production schedule. The quote can include a timeline section for the client, but tracking the work happens in your own tools.
Yes. Convert the accepted quote into an invoice in one click with every line carried over. The payment schedule section states the deposit and the later payments in the quote itself.
Yes. The free plan covers 5 documents a month with unlimited users. Paid plans start at USD $14.99/month for 20 documents, with every feature on every plan, so the shop pays the same when an apprentice starts quoting.
